Azrael: Agent of the Bat (1998)

Azrael: Agent of the Bat was the continuation of the Azrael series, retitled to reflect Jean-Paul Valley's role in the Bat-Family following the Knightfall storyline. Writer Dennis O'Neil, who co-created the character, examined Azrael's efforts to escape his indoctrination by the Order of St. Dumas while working alongside Batman. The title ran for 100 issues before concluding in 2003.
