Dark Horse Classics: Aliens Versus Predator (1997)

Dark Horse Classics: Aliens Versus Predator is a six-issue reprint run released in 1997 to mark the tenth anniversary of Dark Horse Comics. It collects the original Aliens vs. Predator story that first brought the two franchises together in comics, material drawn from a 1989 serial in Dark Horse Presents, the 1990 limited series, and a 1991 epilogue.

The story unfolds on the ranching colony world of Ryushi, where a Predator hunting party arrives just as an Alien infestation breaks loose. Caught in the middle is Machiko Noguchi, a colony administrator who forms a wary alliance with the Predator warrior Broken Tusk against the spreading Xenomorph threat.

Randy Stradley wrote the saga, with art by Phill Norwood and Chris Warner. For this edition the earlier artwork was recolored, and new cover paintings by Michael Dubisch were created for each issue.
