Starship Troopers: Brute Creations (1997)

A one-shot from Dark Horse Comics set in the Starship Troopers universe, published in September 1997 alongside the TriStar film adaptation of Robert Heinlein's novel. Written by Jan Strnad with art by Tommy Lee Edwards and a cover by Denis Beauvais, the story follows Jean Rasczak, a veteran who lost his arm in combat with the Arachnid alien forces and now teaches moral philosophy. When Rasczak is dispatched to the distant colony world of Dantana, he and his student Kurt Allen find themselves facing an unexpected Arachnid assault with no reinforcements available.
