Incredible Hulk (2000)

Relaunched with a new #1, this volume of Incredible Hulk features several distinct creative eras. Paul Jenkins and Ron Garney opened the series exploring Banner's dissociative identity disorder and childhood trauma. Bruce Jones then took over for a thriller-influenced run with Banner as a fugitive, hunted by a mysterious conspiracy. The series reached its pinnacle with Greg Pak's "Planet Hulk" saga, sending the Hulk to an alien world where he becomes a gladiator and eventually a king. The series ended at issue #112, with its numbering continuing into World War Hulk before another relaunch.
