Description
Detective Comics is a long-running DC Comics series that began in 1937, initially spotlighting crime and mystery stories. It became best known for introducing Batman, who quickly became the central figure of the title. The series combined detective fiction with superhero elements, shaping much of the Batman mythos and introducing key allies and villains.
