The Sea Hag is a villain from the Popeye comic strip created by E. C. Segar, first appearing in 1929 in the Black Barnacle storyline. Described as the last witch on Earth, she is a pirate who commands a cursed ship called The Black Barnacle and uses sorcery, piracy, and deception to pursue her schemes. Her base of operations is Plunder Island, and she serves as one of Popeye's most persistent and dangerous antagonists.
