Gil Turner was an American animator and comic book artist who worked across both industries throughout his career. In animation he contributed to Warner Bros., Disney, MGM, and several other studios. In comics he became a regular contributor to Dell Comics, drawing stories based on Bugs Bunny, Porky Pig, and other Warner Bros. characters, as well as Walt Disney's Comics and Stories, where he created original Big Bad Wolf stories from 1947 onward.
