VerseAI is a Pro-only assistant built into VerseDB. It knows your collection, reading history, ratings, and pull list, so it can recommend comics, work out reading orders, and point you to where a character or run begins.
What to ask#
Lead with a comic you enjoyed or a mood you're after — the more context you give, the better the answer.
- Recommendations — "I loved Saga. What else would I enjoy?"
- Reading orders — "What's the reading order for Court of Owls?"
- Starting points — "Where should I start with Spider-Man?"
- Discovery — "Recommend indie comics with strong female leads"
- Deep cuts — "What are some hidden gems like Sandman?"
VerseAI draws on your collection, reading history, ratings, and pull list. Keeping those up to date gives you sharper, more personal results.
Open the chat#
Click the lightning-bolt button in the bottom-right corner of any page. On a phone it opens fullscreen. On desktop, use the fullscreen button in the chat header to expand it. Your conversation saves automatically, so you can pick up where you left off.
Actions on series and issue pages#
When you're viewing a series or issue, VerseAI knows what's in front of you. It offers quick buttons — Add to Collection, Add to List, and Add to Pull List — and you can ask for the same things in plain language, like "add this to my collection" or "follow this series".
VerseAI works with your personal library — collection, lists, pull list, and reading progress. It doesn't change the shared comic database.
