Description
The Beyonder has run out of patience with existence itself and is prepared to end it. Mephisto proposes a wager instead, a contest between champions with reality as the stake. Spider-Man is made to stand for Mephisto, against Zarathos.
Peter has no idea any of this has been decided on his behalf. He is busy with a Daily Bugle deadline and a hospital visit to Nathan Lubensky, who is recovering from a heart attack. A Secret Wars II crossover chapter.
