Launched in 2023 as part of DC's Dawn of DC initiative, this Wonder Woman series pairs writer Tom King with artist Daniel Sampere for an extended, character driven run. It opens with Outlaw, in which the passage of the Amazon Safety Act forces Diana into life as a fugitive on American soil, hunted by the government while a hidden manipulator known as the Sovereign works against her. Later storylines carry her through Absolute Power tie-ins, the Sacrifice and Fury arcs, and the arrival of Trinity, her daughter from a possible future. The run builds toward the Wonder War, a sweeping conflict against the villain called the Matriarch. Blending Greek myth, superhero action, and intimate family drama, the series reframes Diana as warrior, mother, and symbol while widening her corner of the DC Universe with new allies and enemies.
