Batgirl (2011)
Batgirl launched in 2011 as part of DC's New 52 initiative, restoring Barbara Gordon to the role of Batgirl after years spent as the information broker Oracle. Gail Simone wrote the initial run, examining Barbara's physical and psychological recovery as she returned to active heroics in Gotham City. The series ran 52 issues through the end of the New 52 era in 2016.
