Lobo (1993)
SeriesDescription
Lobo launched in 1993 as the first ongoing series for the Czarnian bounty hunter, written by Alan Grant and plotted by Keith Giffen. The title played Lobo's extreme violence and amorality for dark comedy, following the character's misadventures across the galaxy. Originally conceived as a parody of grim-and-gritty anti-heroes, Lobo became one of DC's more popular characters of the 1990s.
