Mark Hazzard: Merc (1986)

Mark Hazzard, a Vietnam veteran, leads a small team of freelance mercenaries called The Shop, taking contracts while trying to maintain a personal moral line in a dangerous business. Published under Marvel's New Universe imprint, the series was written first by Peter David and then by Doug Murray, with art largely by Gray Morrow. It ran 12 issues and an annual from 1986 to 1987.
