Spider-Man: Brand New Day (2008)
Spider-Man: Brand New Day gathers the Amazing Spider-Man stories that opened Peter Parker's back-to-basics era in 2008. After the events of One More Day reshaped his personal life, Marvel made Amazing Spider-Man its sole ongoing Spider-Man title and shipped it three times a month. These volumes collect that run.
The books follow a younger, cash-strapped Peter Parker whose secret identity is no longer public knowledge, juggling freelance work with life in New York City. A rotating group of writers including Dan Slott, Marc Guggenheim, Bob Gale, and Zeb Wells built the era alongside artists such as Steve McNiven, Salvador Larroca, and Phil Jimenez.
The collection also debuts fresh threats in Spider-Man's world, among them Mister Negative, Menace, and Jackpot, set next to familiar friends and foes.
