Sorry to see you go. Deleting your VerseDB account is permanent after a 7-day grace period. Before you start, open Import / Export from the sidebar and download your collection, pull list, and other data — you won't be able to retrieve it afterward.
What Happens#
Your collection, pull list, wishlist, reading progress, reviews, ratings, account settings, API tokens, and integrations are all permanently deleted.
Note
Edits you submitted to comics, characters, creators, and other database entries are kept for data quality — your name is removed from them.
The Process#
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1. Request | Go to versedb.com/account/delete and confirm with your password (if you signed in with Discord, no password is required) |
| 2. Confirm | Click the email confirmation link (valid 24 hours) — this starts the 7-day grace period |
| 3. Cancel (optional) | Log back in any time during the 7 days to cancel the deletion |
| 4. Final deletion | After 7 days without cancellation, your account is queued for permanent deletion. Removal is performed manually by our team. |
