Before You Delete#
Warning
- Export your data first - Visit Account Settings > Data to export your collection, pull list, and other data before deleting
- This is permanent - After the grace period, your account cannot be recovered
What Gets Deleted#
When you delete your account, the following will be permanently removed:
- Your collection, pull list, and wishlist
- Reading progress and history
- Personal reviews and ratings
- Account preferences and settings
- API tokens and integrations
What Gets Preserved#
Note
To maintain data quality for the community, some contributions are anonymized but preserved:
- Edits to comics, characters, creators, and other database entries
- These contributions help other collectors and will remain without your name attached
The Deletion Process#
| Step | What Happens |
|---|---|
| 1. Request deletion | Go to the Delete Account page and enter your password |
| 2. Check your email | You'll receive a confirmation link (valid for 24 hours) |
| 3. Click to confirm | This starts a 7-day grace period |
| 4. Grace period | During these 7 days, you can cancel by simply logging back in |
| 5. Final deletion | After 7 days without cancellation, your account is permanently deleted |
