Learn how to update your payment method, manage billing addresses, and keep your VerseDB PRO subscription running smoothly.

When to Update Your Payment Method#

You should update your payment method when:

  • Your credit card is expiring soon
  • Your card was lost or stolen
  • You want to use a different card
  • A payment failed due to insufficient funds
  • Your billing address changed
  • You received a new card from your bank

Note

Update your payment method 1-2 months before your card expires to avoid service interruptions.


How to Update Payment Method#

  1. Log in to your VerseDB account
  2. Navigate to your Subscription page
  3. Find the "Payment Method" section
  4. Click "Update Payment Method"
  5. Enter your new card information:
    • Card number
    • Expiration date
    • CVC code
    • Cardholder name
    • Billing ZIP code
  6. Click "Save Payment Method"
  7. Wait for verification (1-5 seconds)
  8. Check email for confirmation

Accepted Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, JCB

Payment Security#

Note

Stripe Processing: All payments are processed by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified processor.

What VerseDB Stores:

  • Last 4 digits of card number
  • Card brand (Visa, Mastercard, etc.)
  • Card expiration date
  • Billing ZIP code

What VerseDB Does NOT Store:

  • Full credit card number
  • CVC/CVV security code
  • Banking passwords


Troubleshooting Payment Updates#

"Invalid Card Number" Error#

  • Double-check card number carefully
  • Remove all spaces and dashes
  • Verify card hasn't expired
  • Type number instead of copy/paste
  • Include spaces in card number
  • Use an expired card
  • Copy from screenshots (may include hidden characters)


"Payment Method Declined" Error#

Cause Solution
Insufficient Funds Check account balance, use different card
Card Expired Verify expiration date, request new card
Incorrect CVC Check CVC on back of card (front for Amex)
Incorrect Billing ZIP Verify ZIP matches billing address with bank
International Block Contact bank to authorize international charges
Fraud Prevention Call bank to verify VerseDB/Stripe charge
Daily Limit Reached Wait until limit resets or use different card

Additional Troubleshooting:

  • Use a different browser
  • Disable VPN if active
  • Try incognito/private browsing mode
  • Disable browser extensions (especially ad blockers)

"Card Verification Failed" Error#

The card exists but couldn't be verified. This may be temporary.

Solutions:

  • Wait 5-10 minutes and try again
  • Check card is activated
  • Verify card supports online purchases
  • Try different browser or incognito mode
