Blood Brothers, Part 3 of 6 Into the Depths
Description
A fire at the Daily Grind coffee shop puts Ben Reilly on alert that someone is targeting him, though whether the threat is aimed at him as Spider-Man or as Ben Reilly personally remains unclear. The more immediate confrontation is intimate: Ben is waiting in Jessica Carradine's apartment when she returns, pressing her on the fact that her father was responsible for the murder of his Uncle Ben. She refuses to accept it, and the argument ends with both of them raw and the tension between them unresolved. Jessica holds a photograph of Spider-Man unmasking that makes her a volatile unknown. Written by Howard Mackie, art by John Romita Jr.
