Epilogue to the Blood Brothers arc. Hobgoblin, revealed to be operating under orders from the mysterious Gaunt, has been systematically targeting Ben Reilly: burning the Daily Grind coffee shop, robbing his apartment, and framing him for the arson. Spider-Man tracks Hobgoblin to an abandoned warehouse where the villain has also taken the opportunity to eliminate Cell-12 out of pure spite. Confronted, Hobgoblin admits to the campaign against Peter and Ben but refuses to name whoever hired him, leaving the identity of Gaunt's boss unresolved. Written by Howard Mackie.
