Justice League International (1987)
Keith Giffen and J.M. DeMatteis relaunched the Justice League in 1987 with an intentionally comedic tone and a roster of largely second-tier heroes including Booster Gold, Blue Beetle, and Guy Gardner. Drawn by Kevin Maguire, the series used sharp character comedy to distinguish itself from darker contemporaries.
