Star Spangled Comics (1941)
DC's patriotic anthology ran from 1941 to 1952 through a rotating cast of American heroes. Joe Simon and Jack Kirby's Newsboy Legion and their protector the Guardian starred early, while the Star-Spangled Kid and Stripesy reversed the usual sidekick dynamic with a teen hero and an adult partner. Robin led the title from issue #65 through the end of the run.
