G.I. Joe A Real American Hero #117 Hama Files Edition is a one-shot from Skybound and Image Comics. It belongs to a line that reprints landmark chapters of Larry Hama's long-running G.I. Joe run, originally published by Marvel.
In the reprinted issue, Cobra Commander places a twenty million dollar bounty on Destro, turning the arms dealer into the most hunted man alive. Rival mercenaries and terror cells close in from every side to claim the reward. Destro's slim chance of survival rests with the unpredictable G.I. Joe operative Chuckles.
Each Hama Files Edition adds a new letter from Hama with behind the scenes notes on the issue, printed on deluxe newsprint. Cover art for this release comes from Michael Golden and Chris Mooneyham.
