The Silver Surfer (1968)
Stan Lee and John Buscema's first Silver Surfer solo series, launched in 1968, cast the former herald of Galactus as a cosmic exile marooned on Earth and barred from the stars. The series gave the character a philosophical, melancholy voice as he witnessed humanity from the outside.
