DESCRIPTION
Fables is a fantasy series created by Bill Willingham, launching in 2002 under DC's Vertigo imprint. The series reimagines classic fairy tale characters who have been forced out of their Homelands by a mysterious Adversary and now live in secret in modern-day New York. Led by Snow White and Bigby Wolf (the Big Bad Wolf), these Fables navigate life in exile while planning to reclaim their homelands. The series blends fantasy, noir, political intrigue, and social commentary.
