Little Dot
CharacterDescription
Little Dot is a Harvey Comics character created in 1949 by Alfred Harvey and Vic Herman. A young girl with an all-consuming obsession with polka dots and circular shapes, she wears a red dress covered in black dots and tends to interpret nearly everything in the world through the lens of dots. Her best friend is Little Lotta, and her large cast of eccentric aunts and uncles provided recurring storylines that eventually spun off their own series. Dot received her own title in September 1953 and helped introduce Richie Rich to Harvey Comics readers.
