Description
Callisto is a mutant who organized and led the Morlocks, a community of mutants living in New York City's underground tunnels who were unable to integrate into human society. She built and protected the community with help from mutants including Caliban and Sunder, until Storm challenged her to personal combat and won leadership of the group. Created by Chris Claremont and Paul Smith, she first appeared in Uncanny X-Men #169 in 1983.
