Daffy Duck
CharacterDescription
Daffy Duck is a cartoon character created at Warner Bros. Cartoons, first appearing in Porky's Duck Hunt (1937), directed by Tex Avery. One of the signature characters of the Looney Tunes franchise, he is an anthropomorphic black duck whose personality evolved from a hyperactive screwball into an envious and self-serving schemer across the golden age of Hollywood animation. Daffy starred in 130 theatrical short films and was voiced throughout his early career by Mel Blanc. He has appeared in comics since the 1940s alongside other Looney Tunes characters.
