Description
Spider-Man 2099 is the superhero identity of Miguel O'Hara, a geneticist living in New York City in the year 2099 who accidentally spliced his own DNA with that of a spider. He first appeared in Amazing Spider-Man #365 in 1992, created by Peter David and Rick Leonardi, and launched his own ongoing series the same year. Unlike Peter Parker, Miguel possesses organic webbing secreted from his forearms, retractable talons, and enhanced vision including night sight.
