Description

Death is the cosmic personification of mortality in the Marvel Universe, an abstract entity as old and fundamental as the universe itself. Lacking a fixed physical form, the being often appears as a cloaked skeletal figure or as a humanoid woman when dealing with lesser creatures. Death is counted among Marvel's primal cosmic forces, set opposite the embodiment of life. The character is most famously the object of the mad titan Thanos's devotion, driving much of his quest for power.
