Wanda Fitzgerald is the widow of Al Simmons, the government assassin who died and returned to Earth as the hellspawn Spawn in Todd McFarlane's long-running series. Unaware that her late husband walks the Earth as a supernatural warrior, she mourned Al's death and later married his best friend, Terry Fitzgerald, with whom she has a daughter named Cyan. She first appeared in Spawn #1 in 1992 and has remained a central figure through whom the series examines Spawn's grief and his severed connection to his former life.
