Description
Thomas Raymond is Toro, a young boy with the ability to ignite his body in flame who became the sidekick of the original Human Torch at Timely Comics, first appearing in 1940. Originally presented as a circus performer whose latent mutant abilities were awakened by proximity to the android Human Torch, he fought alongside the Torch throughout World War II in Timely Comics publications. He appeared across Timely Comics' wartime titles and was later revived by Marvel Comics in the modern era.
