Description

Skurge is a formidable Asgardian warrior who frequently acts as an enforcer for the sorceress Amora, the Enchantress. He has clashed with Thor repeatedly in that role.

Despite his long history as an antagonist, Skurge is best remembered for his final act: a solo last stand at the bridge to Hel, holding off an army of the dead so others could escape. That sacrifice in Thor #362 (1985) gave him a measure of redemption.
