Description
Zabu is an intelligent sabertooth tiger and the constant companion of Ka-Zar in Marvel Comics, first appearing alongside Ka-Zar in X-Men #10 in 1965. Created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, he is a prehistoric predator of the Savage Land who formed a bond with Ka-Zar dating back to their childhoods in that hidden Antarctic jungle. He has appeared in every major Ka-Zar story and in team books whenever Ka-Zar has been part of a larger Marvel cast.
