Description
Hyperion is a Marvel Comics character and the most powerful member of the Squadron Supreme, a team designed as analogs to DC's Justice League, first appearing in Avengers #69 in 1969. Created by Roy Thomas and Sal Buscema as an explicit Superman analog, he possesses similar strength, flight, and energy projection abilities. He was central to multiple Squadron Supreme incarnations and miniseries, including the landmark 1985 limited series by Mark Gruenwald.
