Inertia is Thaddeus Thawne, a clone of Bart Allen from the 30th century engineered to rival the original speedster. Unlike Bart, his growth was artificially slowed, shaping him into a more calculating and strategic figure with a deep-seated grudge against the Allen family. He adopts a green costume and uses his speed abilities to challenge Bart and others connected to the Speed Force. Inertia has also taken on the alias Kid Zoom and has been involved with villainous groups such as Titans East, utilizing speed-enhancing drugs to maintain his powers.
