Big Boy is the cheerful, chubby-cheeked mascot of the Big Boy restaurant chain and the star of Adventures of the Big Boy, one of the longest-running comics in American history. The series launched in 1956 with early issues written and drawn by Stan Lee and Bill Everett, and ran for over 500 issues distributed through Bob's Big Boy and affiliate restaurant chains. Stories feature the character in lighthearted, family-friendly scenarios tied to the restaurant setting.
