Henry
CharacterDescription
Henry is a perpetually silent young boy at the center of Carl Anderson's newspaper comic strip, which first appeared in The Saturday Evening Post in 1932 and was subsequently syndicated by King Features. A bald, round-faced child who communicates entirely through pantomime and expression without ever speaking, he became one of the most recognizable characters in American newspaper comics. Dell Comics published a long-running Henry title beginning in the late 1940s.
