Black Spy
CharacterDescription
The Black Spy is one of two rival agents in Spy vs. Spy, the wordless comic strip created by Cuban exile Antonio Prohias for MAD Magazine. Dressed entirely in black, with a long beak-like nose and a wide-brimmed hat, he and his white-clad counterpart are locked in an endless cycle of schemes and sabotage against each other. The strip debuted in MAD #60 in 1961 as a parody of Cold War espionage.
