Morty

Morty is one of Mickey Mouse's two nephews in Disney comics, alongside his twin brother Ferdie. The pair first appeared in the 1932 Mickey Mouse Sunday newspaper strip by Floyd Gottfredson.

Morty and Ferdie Fieldmouse are the young sons of Mickey's sister, entrusted to Mickey's care. Morty is typically portrayed as the more adventurous and outgoing of the two, though the brothers are often interchangeable in stories. They serve a similar narrative role to Donald Duck's nephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie, providing Mickey with youthful companions for adventures.

The twins have appeared in thousands of Disney comics published internationally, particularly in European markets where the Mickey Mouse cast receives extensive coverage. They are a consistent part of the Mouseton supporting cast in both adventure and humor stories.
