Billy Whizz
CharacterDescription
Billy Whizz is a young boy with the ability to run at superhuman speed, the central character of a humor strip in The Beano created by Malcolm Judge that first appeared in 1964. Using his extraordinary velocity for personal benefit and comedic misadventure rather than heroism, he generates chaos for the adults around him in the tradition of The Beano's misbehaving child protagonists. The strip ran for nearly 25 years under Judge's original artwork and continues as one of the anthology's recurring features.
