Steve Canyon

Steve Canyon is a World War II veteran turned adventurous civilian pilot and later Air Force officer, the central character of Milton Caniff's syndicated newspaper comic strip Steve Canyon, which launched on January 13, 1947. Caniff created the strip after his celebrated run on Terry and the Pirates, continuing to write and draw it until his death in 1988. The strip ran for over four decades and was adapted into comic book publications by Dell Comics and others.
