Jerom

Jerom is a superhumanly strong Flemish caveman and one of the main recurring cast members in the Belgian comic series Suske en Wiske, created by cartoonist Willy Vandersteen and first appearing in the 1953 album De Dolle Musketiers. Originally a brutish antagonist, he was redesigned as a gentle, simple-minded giant with nearly limitless physical strength who accompanies the group on their adventures. He became popular enough to star in his own spin-off series, Jerom de Gouden Stuntman, published from 1962 to 1991.
