Sidonia (Sidonie Van Stiefrijke) is a Flemish comics character in Willy Vandersteen's Belgian series Suske en Wiske. She is the aunt of Wiske and the adoptive aunt of Suske, serving as their guardian and the responsible adult of the household. Vandersteen created her specifically to play a role no real mother could fill: allowing the children to go on far-fetched adventures while still providing them a caring and protective home base.
