The Heap

Spawn's necroplasm draws him toward Rat City's dead zone, where he is engulfed by the Heap, a massive creature made of discarded refuse. The Heap was born when a man named Eddie Beckett, stabbed in an alley, came into contact with necroplasm left behind by the Freak and was transformed. As a catastrophic heat wave descends on Manhattan, Cogliostro delivers a dossier on Spawn to Sam and Twitch, the angel Bootsy pleads for divine intervention, and Spawn vanishes inside the creature's mass.
