The Void

Sam and Twitch study everything they have uncovered about Al Simmons as Spawn fights a desperate battle inside the Heap. Cogliostro and Bootsy arrive too late to pull him clear, and in Spawn's absence they find only the Hellspawn sigil, a sign he is gone. In a featureless dark space, Spawn encounters the spirit of Eddie Beckett, the man who became the Heap, who points him toward a distant light and the sensation of homecoming.
