Shattered By the Shocker!
The Shocker has a tape, a deadline and a padded suit full of concussive force. Herman Schultz tells the Mayor of New York that one million dollars will be in his hands by midnight, or the power stations go down and the city goes dark.
The Mayor does not pay. Spider-Man, still sore from their last meeting under the streets, works out which station has been left thin and finds a security guard face down before he ever sees the man responsible. The Shocker sees him first.
