Description

Peter has been ignoring his assigned work in Doctor Swann's lab to build a stronger, more heat resistant web fluid, and he loads the experimental cartridges into his shooters. Outside Eatwell Caterers he finds the guards unconscious and Paladin going through the files, and the mercenary slips away.

He talks Mary Jane into using her society contacts to get them into the Waldorf reception the caterer is working so he can pick the trail back up. It leads toward Carlton Drake and the Life Foundation, and toward Silver Sable, who is chasing a conspiracy aimed at her homeland.
