Description

A Los Angeles-based superhero team assembled by Tony Isabella and Don Heck, The Champions united Black Widow, Hercules, Ghost Rider, and former X-Men Angel and Iceman. Marketed as heroes for the common man, the team operated outside New York's Marvel establishment. The series ran 17 issues from 1975 to 1978 before folding due to creative instability.
