Lois Lane
Description
Lois Lane is a DC Comics character created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster. She first appeared in Action Comics #1 (1938) alongside Superman and has been a central figure in the Superman mythos from its inception.
Lois is a Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative journalist at the Daily Planet newspaper in Metropolis. She is known for her tenacity, fearlessness, and willingness to pursue dangerous stories regardless of personal risk. Her professional rivalry and eventual romance with fellow reporter Clark Kent, whose secret identity as Superman she eventually discovers, is one of the longest-running relationships in comics.
Lois has headlined her own series multiple times, beginning with Superman's Girl Friend, Lois Lane in 1958. She is consistently depicted as one of the most accomplished non-superpowered characters in the DC Universe, respected by heroes and civilians alike for her integrity and investigative skills.
