Charles M McNider
CharacterDescription
Charles McNider is Doctor Mid-Nite, a physician who was blinded by a grenade and discovered he could see in complete darkness, first appearing in All-American Comics #25 in 1941. Created by Charles Reizenstein and Stan Aschmeier, he fought crime using blackout bombs that plunged environments into total darkness where only he could see, and was a founding member of the Justice Society of America. He is the original and most enduring of the three characters to hold the Doctor Mid-Nite identity in DC Comics.
