Description
Black Mask is a DC Comics villain and crime lord who operates in Gotham City as one of Batman's recurring adversaries. Roman Sionis, a corrupt businessman, first appeared in Batman #386 in 1985, created by Doug Moench and Tom Mandrake. Disfigured after fusing an ebony mask to his face, he leads the criminal organization known as the False Face Society and is known for his sadistic brutality and his rivalry with other Gotham underworld figures.
